What will you be doing as a Business Development Manager at RocketX?

As our Business Development Manager, you will be joining the RocketX team. This is where we establish the most amazing partnerships with Founders, Executives & Investors in Ambitious European scale-ups. It’s a fast-paced and consultative role in which you’re consistently speaking with leaders on topics like go-to market strategy & execution, fundraising and organizational design.

You will be responsible for building a network in the scale-up environment and managing your own portfolio. Spotting opportunities and converting these into closed won deals and building long-lasting relationships are your main concerns. You play an instrumental role within our revenue engine.

To achieve this, we are seeking an individual who is passionate about establishing cutting-edge relationships with tech scale-ups throughout Europe, and accelerating our growth. This person will closely monitor the market and proactively pursue opportunities to expedite the sales pipeline, reducing the average sales cycle.

  • You have at least 3 years of working experience in a Sales role;

  • You're eager to learn and have affinity with our core domains move;

  • You are proactive and can deal with a past-paced and changing environment;

  • Hunter mentality; you care about numbers, targets and conversions;

  • You have an assertive communication style;

  • You have a consultative sales style (strategy consulting experience is a bonus);

  • You are an active listener and like to solve problems for our clients;

  • You have a commercial mind – you always keep the bigger picture in mind, and you're willing to go the extra mile;

  • You speak and write English fluently (Dutch, Swedish, Finnish, or German is a bonus).
